Another former employee, I’ll call her CN, and I have been toying with the idea of opening up Remember When Scrapbook Store in a… well… a store again. We’re considering the Collierville/Germantown TN area. Currently the store is open (of course) but only online. I really miss having a place where people can come visit any time, where we have crops into the ‘wee hours’, where we can socialize and compare notes, and of course where our MeetUp.com group can meet (yes, even during the day/week)!
What do you think? Can the Memphis area support another scrapbook store? Is the Collierville/Germantown area convenient? What would you like to see in a store that you aren’t currently seeing? What do you like best about your LSS’s? Least? What would your dream LSS be like?
Our biggest obstacle right now is finding a location… anyone into property leasing in the Memphis area? 
Hello! My name is Kate and I own Remember When Scrapbook Store, an online scrapbook supplies store. I am also a scrapper (of course!). I have been scrapping, in one form or another, for about 8 years. I work mostly in 12×12, but enjoy doing gift books and cards too. Remember When Scrapbook Store just kind of fell into my lap a few months ago when my former boss (and owner of the LSS-turnerd-online store) decided to close her store completely. I just couldn’t bear the thought of not having easy access to all the wonderful supplies so I bought the store from her!! It’s been both hard work and fun.
I decided to start this blog because there are so many things to talk about in the world of scrapbooking but my website just doesn’t provide a good space for discussion. I’m interested in what others are talking about, what products they are using, their favorite techniques, and what inspires them. I also want to share some fun things… layout ideas, title and journaling ideas, photography tips, and of course what’s going on with the store!
